Here's a small taste of what's included in the Youth Football Skills and Drills package...

Mirror Score Drill

Offensive Linemen

Here's one of the most important and versatile drills in football. It teaches a player how to move laterally while keeping his base, maintaining a good hitting position, and not getting his feet tangled up.

This works great as a competitive drill you can run within your group of offensive linemen, or even against defensive linemen.

3 Step Drop Drill

Quarterbacks

Here's an important drill progression that teaches fundamental footwork skills for young quarterbacks, including the 3-step and 5-step drop.

As you teach this, make sure the QB is getting back into the pocket, setting his back foot, then stepping in the direction of the throw.

Buddy Drill

Defensive Backs and Linebackers

This is a great, competitive drill that trains your defensive players to break in front of the receiver's route and pick the ball off.

As you go through this drill make sure your players are focusing on and reacting to the quarterback's shoulder. To make the pick, plant the outside foot to the ground, then transition through the ball as you intercept it, maintaining momentum. If you are not sure you will get the pick, leave one-arm behind the receiver to secure the tackle.
